Weekly Review (14 April - 20 April)

Weekly Review (14 April - 20 April)

1- what tasks did I complete.

2-What I didn't achieve that I was hoping to?

3-General feeling of how the week went, was it successful or not! How could I improve next week.

4-How will this week benefit my final outcome?

5-What I plan to do next week.

1- This week I was able to start coming up with some initial design and concept ideas along with continuing my primary and secondary research. The most valuable part of my week though was making some experimental model of my design ideas using a range of different materials from cardboard to gathering random objects from the pound store. I really enjoyed this task as it enabled me to visualise some design ideas as I am not the best drawer in the world.
Using the models I had built, I took pictures of them which I then printed out and used tracing paper to draw over the top to turn them into even more initial building ideas.

2- This week I believe I have managed to complete everything I needed to in order to progress through my project however I need to make sure that I catch up on my blog and sketchbook so it doesn't get to far behind.

3- I think this week has probably been my most successful so far. I have really enjoyed making the experimental models as it has started to bring my project to life and will give me a visual aid to help me move on within my designs and also give me something physical to show my crit group and tutors in order to get feedback.

4- This weeks work will really benefit my project especially if I am able to gather some constructive feedback from my group and tutors as this will enable me to get their opinions on how my project is going so far and will hopefully help me come up with my final design concept.

5- Next week I plan on finalising my project concept ideas so that I can focus my project and research more. I would also like to start gathering materials for making my final model in the future by visiting various art shops. along with this I will need to to some more research so I can come up with a final design for my building.
